We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our team, helping to build and maintain a variety of Linux systems and services throughout our global IT infrastructure.
You will collaborate closely with system/service owners, automate processes, troubleshoot issues, and lead the team to boost operational efficiency for all systems under our care.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, operate, and maintain Linux Systems (RHEL/CentOS / Fedora) and related infrastructure
  • Manage patch updates on OS applications, maintain package sources and compliance reports, and oversee patch deployments
  • Enhance the security profile of Linux environments, conducting vulnerability remediation deployments
  • Automate user and group management, password policies, and other configurations
  • Automate the identification and management of Linux OS and software assets
  • Monitor system health actively, troubleshoot issues and work towards improving the stability and performance of Linux Systems
  • Evaluate new technologies for potential implementation and optimize current systems
  • Create, update, and organize technical documentation and knowledge bases for the team and other departments

  • About 3 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator
  • Strong experience with RedHat-based Operating Systems
  • Proficiency in shell command line usage, scripting, and automation tools, with Ansible experience being an added advantage
  • Extensive experience with administering, provisioning, configuring, tuning, and monitoring web servers (Apache/Nginx), databases (SQL and NoSQL), logging (ELK) and HA systems (AWS ELB/HAProxy)
  • Familiarity with virtualized and/or containerized environments (VMware/VirtualBox/Docker) and Content Delivery Networks (AWS CloudFront/Akamai lon)
  • Experience with CI/CD processes (GitLab/Jenkins)
  • Ability to work efficiently, either independently or as part of a team, with strong prioritization skills and initiative
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to create robust technical documentation
