The Manager of PR and Influencer Marketing for Clinique, NA will be responsible for driving all influencer and editor programming and initiatives in partnership with Clinique CE leadership- including editor outreach, special events, always-on influencer programming, paid influencer programming.

They will work closely with the Director of PR & Influencer and CE Leadership to understand product and business priorities and oversee the creation of supporting programming and campaigns.

As part of the Consumer Engagement team - this person will be a part of the seamless consumer communications messaging in an effort to build brand awareness & brand love amongst key consumer segments in the ever-evolving beauty space.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy

• Serve as brand expert and provide guidance to agency partners across PR + Influencer, cultural and social trends

• Generate innovative ideas and pitches to engage our community, driving increased earned media value (EMV) and fostering brand loyalty.

• Develop deep understanding of the brand core consumers, key priority products, key audience segments, etc.) through close partnership with CE leadership & product marketing.

• Develop winning strategy on how to grow and accelerate brand EMV in partnership with Director and CE team lead.

• Develop go to market media strategies in partnership with Director.

PR/ Influencer/Eventing

• Cultivate and expand the Clinique Community; regularly identify and engage with new

• Manage internal and external work streams across multiple campaigns

• Manage the execution of a scaled, always-on and paid influencer marketing strategy supporting our launches and evergreen moments from concept to execution.

• Create best-in-class experiences for editors, influencer partners, and consumers

• Oversee influencer gifting and seeding strategies, including logistics in partnership with Asst. Manager

Measurement

• Lead monthly reporting across PR + Influencer programming

• Define primary and secondary KPI's for all campaigns, and bring strong analytical POV to reporting

• Partner with agencies to curate wrap reporting for key earned media initiatives

• Deploy learnings to internal (leadership, product marketing, global CE, etc.) stakeholders.

• Leverage learnings to influence go forward strategic plans/media campaign executions

Leadership

• Manage and aid in development of Influencer and PR Assistant Manager

• Foster a culture of collaboration and creativity cross functionally with NA + Global brand partners

• Demonstrated ability to delegate, manage, and inspire teams brand-wide

Financial Management

• Ensure internal finance trackers are up to date

• Manage Ad-Pro projections & actualization entries for all earned media efforts

• Monitor and track budget allocations for talent partnerships and activations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of PR/ Influencer experience required
  • Deep knowledge of PR & Influencer landscape
  • Prior experience in cosmetics or skincare industry
  • Has existing relationships with influencers, beauty editors, and talent agents
  • Knowledge of beauty category (inclusive of competitive brands, opportunities, relevant media outlets, etc.) preferred
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and best practices
  • Must be comfortable managing multiple projects/campaigns & competing priorities
  • Must be detail and solutions oriented, organized and possess strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong team player who works well in a highly integrated team model (internal + external)
  • Strong oral and written communication & presentation skills, as well as interpersonal and team building capabilities with internal functional groups as well as with external partners
  • Must possess strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Proficiency in Tribe Dynamics a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $139,600. Exact salary depends on several
factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a
highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance
and company results.
