Team Overview
The Talent Acquisition Marketing Team supports the department's recruitment objectives by creating and delivering an integrated marketing strategy that includes multiple programs and tactics. The team's goal is to optimize the Edward Jones employment brand and drive engagement. All these efforts rely heavily on the company's careers website. The Senior Channel Management Specialist will be responsible for managing various aspects of digital marketing related to the firms' careers website experience.

What You'll Do

Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:

  • Lead channel activation and management - Lead the strategic execution, activation, and performance of our company's careers website properties, ensuring they are up-to-date, search engine-optimized, user-friendly, and aligned with digital marketing best practices and brand standards. Additionally, create and refine lean Agile processes around new business requests, strategic enhancements, and backlog prioritizations. Understand the jobseeker and candidate journey, communication preferences and the unique value each channel provides the job seeker and candidate. Provide functional and technical expertise and requirements to lead channel activation, technical capability expansion and underlying processes. Responsible for overseeing channel delivery, coordinating across multiple channels, and designing methodology to optimize the jobseeker and candidate experience.
  • Jobseeker and Candidate Personalization and Targeting - Use state-of-the-art planning and targeting tools and interfaces to personalize jobseeker and candidate experience. Use data to discover and optimize audience selection, test experiences, and target jobseekers and candidates across channel of responsibility leveraging GA4, GTM and A/B testing methods. Deeply understand jobseekers' and candidates' behavioral patterns within the channel and align channel delivery to program objectives and content strategy.
  • Channel Governance - Lead the development of channel best practices and preserve channel integrity by informing key stakeholders about channel guidelines that align with jobseeker and candidate experience strategy.
  • Brand - Deeply understand firm's brand positioning and ensure brand is represented consistently across channel experiences. Establish a close working relationship with strategy, messaging, and agency teams to ensure channel experiences align to brand vision.
  • Measurement/Optimization -Deeply understand firm and hiring performance objectives and lead the development of channel measures that support the desired client and business outcomes. Accountable for specific channel and department measures that support Marketing results.
  • Channel identification and innovation - Identify emerging trends and innovating channels that align with the client experience. Develop the business case and recommend solutions to improve channel. Lead medium- to large scale projects aligned to Marketing priorities to implement new channels and applicable enhancements in collaboration with technology teams.

Hiring Minimum: $81750
Hiring Maximum: $139194

What Experience You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or related/equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in communication, financial services marketing, journalism, social media strategy, web or intranet development, user centered design, paid media, direct marketing and/or project management, including experience with:
    • Website/Content Management (WordPress highly preferred)
    • Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
    • User Experience best practices and/or processes
    • Digital communication, paid media planning and placement, direct marketing tools and web publishing technologies such as Oracle Content Management, Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Target, Marketo, social media platforms, HTML, web reporting tools, Microsoft applications, etc.
    • Leading and implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactics and best practices
    • HTML and CSS for front-end web development
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and influence senior leaders, key stakeholder, and peers
  • Ability to solve highly complex issues quickly, in a cost-effective, collaborative manner, often without the benefit of guidelines or precedent
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to deliver under strict deadlines, handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a dynamic marketing environment as well as demonstrated ability to work independently

What Could Set You Apart

  • Marketing, recruiting, or technical experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Knowledge or experience with Agile Frameworks
  • Experience with landing page conversion optimization best practices
  • Strong understanding of website governance requirements: Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

Depending on experience/qualifications, this role may be filled as a Channel Management Specialist II or Senior Channel Management Specialist*

*Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday
