About Team
The Digital Insider Risk (DInR) Department protects The Jones Financial Companies, and its subsidiaries (collectively, "the Firm") against risk stemming from user digital activity. The Digital Insider Risk & Data Loss Prevention Product Owner II is responsible to support the DInR/DLP team in the development and documentation of performance metrics and operational procedures. They work in collaboration with the entire DInR/DLP team and are instrumental in developing program strategies through data analytics and mission requirements.

What You'll Do

  • The Product Owner serves as the individual accountable for one or more systems, or sub-components of highly complex product structures. They are responsible for providing thought leadership and driving a multi-disciplinary and cross-divisional product team to deliver value to internal and external customers of the Firm.
  • The role is accountable for the respective product's branch/client experience that necessitates a systems thinking approach.
  • This individual aligns strategy to execution through the development and maintenance of their product roadmap, outlining the body of work expected now, next, and into the future.
  • This work includes management of system plans and supporting artifacts encompassing resource requirements, stakeholder solution requirements, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria as necessary to deliver on the promised business value.
  • This individual additionally serves as the primary contact for issues and escalations related to their supported systems, providing as timely resolution as possible.
  • This individual will additionally interact and align with adjacent product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive progression of the department strategy
  • This individual will develop and maintain team data and documentation within various tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and case management) to support metrics, estimates, and execution.
  • Offer expert guidance and coaching on tailoring an implementation of agile that nests well within the DInR Program.
  • This role will assist in the development and maintenance of metric-based reporting, KRI's, and KPI's through collaboration with the team, to provide scope, coverage, identify gaps, and areas for enhancements for DInR data security solutions and tooling.

Hiring Maximum: $164262

What You'll DO

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience within Information Systems Security, or 7 Years of Information Technology experience with a focus on security controls and processes.

  • Strong knowledge of financial services concepts, practices, and procedures, with emphasis on User and Entity Behavior Analytics, and Data Loss Prevention.
  • Proficient with common security products and tools, and capable of researching new solutions.

Span of Influence:

  • Medium/High - while decisions and problems faced by associates in this role are moderate in nature, the size of our programs and importance to our clients increases the impact.
  • Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work within the office three days per week, with the preference for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
