Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated AI governance expert to join our growing AI Center of Excellence, responsible for using machine learning to drive innovation across the organization. We welcome applications from Spain (office: Barcelona) with an option of remote work.  Join us! 

Your global responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

• Ensure the responsible use of AI in EcoVadis products and AI-assisted automation initiatives and its alignment with regulatory and legal requirements

• Support the implementation of AI governance frameworks and relevant policies

• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies for AI systems

• Support reporting on AI governance signals and implementation activities in public disclosures and beyond

• Coordinate work across ML engineers and scientists with respect to AI asset repository

• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders including legal teams, procurement, enterprise architecture and other stakeholders

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and technology advancements in the field of AI governance and ethics

Qualifications

You have an outgoing personality along with an exceptional level of drive and a desire to pursue a career in an international and dynamic environment. You also possess excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking and analytical skills. 

• M.S. degree in a relevant quantitative subject area

• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to AI and data protection (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and others)

• Solid understanding of AI and machine learning lifecycle, principles and tooling including MLOps

• Strong business acumen and understanding of how AI initiatives drives value in organisations

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience of cross-functional collaboration in the development of AI products and services (e.g., Engineers, Product Managers) is a plus
