Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Tool & Die Maker -2nd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.

What you'll do:
Specialize in the construction, alteration, and repair of complex tools, equipment, dies, fixtures, gauges, etc., requiring a high degree of specialized skill and knowledge of machining and tool building practices.
Sets up and operates conventional and special-purpose machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts and fits and assembles machined parts into complete units, applying knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machine-ability of materials and layout techniques. Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finsished workpiece, sequence of operations and setup requirements. Measures, marks and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining. Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, atachments, accessories and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders and shapers. Ensures compliance with all safety and housekeeping practices and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Education and experience equivalent to completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or High school diploma or GED plus a two year related technical college education
3-5 years of machinist experience operating lathes/milling machines and other machine shop equipment.
Skills:
Must have knowledge of shop mathematics, working properties of various metals and steels, and be capable of shaping parts to precise dimensions.
