Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Technical Leader for Finance IT - Accounting & Controls value stream. This position will be based out of our Pune office in India.

Brief primary function of your role:

The Technical Leader will be responsible for leading the solution construction, deployment and support of Eaton's global application system leveraged by Finance Accounting & Controls Organization. The individual will lead an agile team of developers, quality engineers and support professionals. The role will need functional understanding of Finance processes, and technical skills to design solutions for Oracle E Business Suite R12 Finance modules.

Responsibilities:

Your essential responsibilities include:

  • Support the Scrum Master in day-to-day task management for delivery team members
  • Support decomposition and estimation of epics, features, technical enablers, and user stories
  • Prioritize technical enablers and align prioritization with Product Owner
  • Support identification and management of dependencies
  • Identify & address technical risks and drive resolution of technical impediments
  • Ensures DevSecOps tools & processes meet automation & quality testing requirements
  • Accountability for support, incident response, production monitoring and system health.
  • Collaborates with product owner on platform health and technical activities within a sprint
  • Continuous improvement for DevSecOps and platform
  • Oversees product architecture
  • Abreast of upcoming software development/engineering tools, trends, and methodologies as well as selection and adoption of new software and tools.
  • Fundamental understanding of highly available systems, system uptime targets, and disaster recovery principles.
  • Manages individuals on the team, supporting development activities, and guides/coaches career development
  • Responsible for technical and cybersecurity governance as well as adherence to development and quality standards.
  • Ensure that product team outcomes are the primary driver for individual's work priorities.
  • Ensures target SLA's are met by support team and helps support escalation triage as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Having a 4-year college degree in Computer Science or an engineering field.
  • Having a 15+ years hands on experience in Agile, development, design with the at least 8-10 years on Oracle EBS

Skills:

  • An excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and associated ITIL best practices help recommend and implement continual improvement in the processes and procedures
  • Understanding of mordern integration methodologies
  • Experience with Process mining will be an added advantage
  • Able to take key decisions with ambiguous or little information.
  • A collaborative person who communicates effectively across teams in IT and business personnel to gather requirements, communicate expectations, identify solutions, and create action plans as well as have proven experience in communications and coordination with various stakeholders.
  • A motivated individual who has proven earlier experience of managing high performing teams.
  • Experience of working with Vendor partners on SOW's and managing engagement relationships
