Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Systems Engineer. The position will be based at our Sumter, SC facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You'll Do:
• Lead the Charge: Set the strategic direction for business processes that support manufacturing excellence.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Develop and implement data acquisition and reporting systems to empower informed decision-making.
• System Integration: Support transitions from legacy systems (MRP and SAP) and map existing systems to optimize process flows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate and lead project teams to drive improvements in various business processes.
• Innovate and Improve: Develop and support new initiatives and programs related to manufacturing information systems using Eaton lean manufacturing and CI tools.
• IT Partnership: Work closely with the IT organization to ensure successful implementation of systems projects.
• Foster Innovation: Create an environment that encourages collaboration and a digital mindset.
• Set Standards: Establish standards for digital solutions that enhance business process improvements.
• Communicate Effectively: Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and maintain open communication with stakeholders.
• Leadership Contribution: Serve as an active member of the Sumter facility's Extended Leadership team, offering strategic input and driving continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in coding (Python, VBA, SQL, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI).
• Manufacturing Insight: Strong understanding of production/manufacturing environments.
• Problem-Solving: Knowledge of CI or other problem-solving tools (LSS, etc.).
• Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and computer communication skills.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with minimum 1 year of coding, engineering or manufacturing experience (includes internships or co-ops) required OR High school diploma with minimum 5 years of manufacturing, coding or engineering work experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with coding (Python, VBA, SQL, etc.)
- Experience in developing digital applications (Backend and/or Frontend).
- Experience in production/manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement or other problem-solving tools (LSS, etc)
