What you'll do:

As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will support Eaton production plants and Distributing Centers in the EMEA region, from below defined areas:

Supplier Quality Management (8D): you will communicate with Suppliers resolving questions, review and evaluate 8D, train and develop low performing suppliers, work with various quality problem solving tools (8D, A3, PDCA, ...)

Quality related finance transactions: you will initiate administration costs (DMR fee) towards Suppliers, due to valid quality issues, support financial part of Return to Vendor process (credit collection), support cost of poor quality negotiations and collections, support Procurement on contract negotiations outstanding cost challenges

Production Part Approval Process (PPAP): you will execute APQP regional process in the between the quality team, Eaton sites and Suppliers, use of AIAG main tools to define PPAP level (CP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), read engineering drawings, you will adhere to Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), execute APQP regional process in the between the quality team, Eaton sites and Suppliers

Regional Process Standardization: you will implement and maintain of Eaton standards on Regional (EMEA) level, identifies process gaps and work on the continuous improvement, train and guide plant quality specialists on Corporate/Regional processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • Language: English fluency
  • At least 5 years of experience in production / technical area as a Quality or Manufacturing engineer
  • Good understanding of Problem Solving Tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why...), Quality Tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC),
  • Technical experience from production of one commodity (Machining, Plastic injection, assembly etc.)
  • SAP, Oracle or Power BI knowledge
  • Strong communication skills verbal and written on horizontal and vertical level,
  • Drive for results
  • Strong in Leading and negotiating
