The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:

Our Senior SAP FICO Business Analyst role is responsible for supporting and enhancing the SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) module. This role involves working closely with the finance and controlling teams to understand their needs and translate them into SAP system requirements. The analyst will design, configure, and test SAP FICO solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are compliant with financial reporting standards. They may also provide training and support to end-users, troubleshoot system issues, and participate in the ongoing development and optimization of the SAP FICO system.

In this position you will;

  • Be the SME with in-depth functional & business process knowledge of SAP FICO and provide technical training/guidance to entire CPS business
  • Collaborate with divisional financial leadership and business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems
  • Manage requirements scope & disposition through process compliance & gap analysis, integration testing for SAP and SalesForce user stories/enhancements
  • Bug root cause analysis and triaging (including daily invoicing errors)
  • Implementation and enforcement of best practices (review of current system flows/processes)
  • Ownership of SAP configuration requests (design, submission, testing)
  • Provide knowledge and input on the system implications of business process changes and help identify consolidated, worldwide target processes for SAP FICO
  • Evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, translate high-level information into details, abstract up from low level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
  • Interact with senior leaders to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language)
  • Support end-to-end processes based on intermediate level understanding of system touch points
  • Responsible for all SAP FICO activities at the division including testing SAP unity solutions, managing approval levels in the system, SOD review
  • Responsible for monthly activities including SAP job management and managing activities at the plant/profit center level
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with general ledger/FICO
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with ERP/SAP systems
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • No relocation is being offered for this position. Candidate must reside within a 50 mile radius of location listed in job description to be considered. Active duty military candidates are exempt from this requirement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with general ledger/FICO
  • 5+ years of experience with ERP/SAP systems Manufacturing industry experience. Proficient experience with SalesForce and PowerBI preferred

  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of financial accounting requirements under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and Eaton financial policies
  • Demonstrate intermediate to expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
