Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Sr. Accounting supervisor.
Qualifications:
Supervise the Accounting Processes for RTR activities and coordinate and supervise CRMs with the ETE process for some sites already migrated in the GFSS. Conduct the monthly closing process. Maintain strait relation with business partners and ensuring the customer service experience. Perform Balance sheet Review, Maintain SOX and Internal Audit compliance. Perform and Coordinates monthly balance sheet reviews. Manage and champion ad hoc projects as needed. The position drives continuous improvement in accounting while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS).
"1. Supervise the daily operations and the monthly closing process for the RTR SAP activities (Cash Management, Intercos and fixed asset).

2. Review monthly reconciliations for the different areas in the scope - RTR, Cash, Intercos and Fixed assets.
3. Supervise the Fixed Assets and Insurances records for Acquisitions and Depreciations / Amortization.
4. Invoice approval in Markview and SAP system for the ETE sites
5. Supervise Intercompany Transactions, Supervise Income / Invoicing Records and Control AR and AP accounts.
6. Supervise CRMs and the performance metrics to ensure the standardization and improvement.
7. Ensure the data health of the balances and follow up any open items investigating the root cause.
8. Ensure the ARCs tool use to follow up the balances with our business partners, review the proper working of the tool and if is the case provide feedback
9. Partners with directs reports, other CRMs and operations to drive standardization.
10. Perform payment transactions on e-banking.
11. Participate in ETE centralization projects
12. Provide Balance Sheet data analysis to enable standardization and decision making.
13. Prepare the final presentation of metrics for RTR (Arcs and Banking) for the monthly ops review.
14. Develops the financial function and personnel into customer-oriented professionals with responsibility for developing and improving local and corporate policies, standards and agreements, technical accounting expertise, controls and business systems in conjunction with local requirements and WHQ guidelines.
15. Provide business partnership to all areas of the entity regarding functional expertise and cross-functional support, providing guidance and education as needed to the Corporate personnel to achieve financial objectives. Act as advisor and provide counsel to staff and personnel regarding financial operations and interpretation of financial information.
16. Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work.
17. Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFSS goals. Support site, functional or corporate initiatives.
18. Collaborate with the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits for the sites and activities under the scope.
19. Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.
20. Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.

What you'll do:
Bachelor degree necessary.-Accounting....or similar
3 - 5 years of eperience as an accoountant supervisor in a multinational company. Or 3 - 5 years of experience in finance/ accounting and auditing within within a Big 4 Firm as Audit Manager or Top Senior Auditor.
Skills:
"- Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential; sound understanding of Tax regulation
- Exposure to US GAAP / MEX GAAP reporting requirements
- Knowledge of E-banking platforms
- Systems SAP and Oracle"
