Eaton's AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Site Quality Manager. This position is an onsite role, and is located at our Euclid, OH facility. The Euclid facility has approximately 325 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
The primary responsibilities for this position will be to develop and deploy the Aerospace Quality strategy for both production and new product development in a manner that complies with customer and industry standards. The Quality Manager will implement global Aerospace and Industrial Sector Quality programs, goals and objectives, achieve superior customer Quality ratings through regular reviews of the Quality Management System, leading indicators, and lagging indicators with special focus on the transition between new product development and production. Responsibilities also include providing support to customers, suppliers, and partners, maintaining certifications to required Aerospace industry and customer standards, and improving organizational capability of the quality function.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment of the Quality strategy both production and new programs.
- Ensure compliance with Eaton, customer and industry-specific Quality requirements by conducting the necessary audits and assessments and determine system effectiveness.
- Develop and implement a Quality organizational structure capable of supporting the strategic initiatives and lead the efforts to integrate quality into the development of short and long range business plans.
- Develop strategies for integrating Quality concepts into the new product development process.
- Analyze key quality-related operational metrics and perform periodic reviews to evaluate results and establish action plans to close the gaps at an operational level for both on-going production and new product development.
- Continually improve the capability of the Quality organization through ongoing development activities and identification of talent to promote functional bench strength. Ensure deployment of Eaton's quality functional excellence tool set and provide input to development plans for functional reports.

Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, MBA preferred
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
- This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be US persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a US Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Systems, preferably AS9100.
- Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical Device Manufacturing experience
- Machining experience
- In-depth experience with Quality tools such as 8D (CAPA), Root Cause Analysis, Lean Principles such as Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work.
- Proficient in GD&T and complex blueprint reading
- Ability to read and understand complex technical and contractual documents.
- EQS Assessor, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certified
- (CQM / OE), ISO-9001 Auditor and Six Sigma Blackbelt
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in the area of Quality, continuous improvement, etc.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a role with direct customer interface preferred.
- Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization, including presenting to shop floor and executive personnel.
