Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping Material Handler- 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $21.20 plus .60 shift differential per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
HOURS: 2:30PM - 11PM
What you'll do:
- Collect order notes to fulfill deliveries
- Pick out ordered items from storage shelves using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
- Securely shrink-wrap items before placing them in boxes or on pallets
- Operate handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations
- Load delivery vehicles
- Update stock inventory after each item is retrieved
- Manage stock control, including item replenishment and storage

Position Criteria:
- Receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).
- Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
- Perform general warehouse duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Must have a minimum of six (6) months of Forklift experience both stand-up and sit down required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong product knowledge.
Skills:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally to frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, or bending with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and close attention to detail
- Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product
- Ability to reach, grasp, and manipulate
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
