Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) is currently seeking a ReSurge Program: Marketing Analyst. The position will be hybrid with an expected 3 days in the Syracuse, New York office and 2 days remote.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing global market trends, developing insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive our marketing strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, segment and competitive market research, and our customers' performance. The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing these market trends and providing actionable insights that drive our global strategic marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of marketing.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Analyze current and emerging market segment data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations of these markets.
• Utilize analytics tools to track performance. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on marketing performance metrics. Present findings to the marketing team and stakeholders. Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional sales and product teams to support and align key marketing strategic initiatives to ensure cohesive messaging.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts and strategies as they relate to our competitors and segments.
• Analyze customer feedback and behavior to enhance user experience. Conduct surveys or focus groups to gather qualitative data.
• Gather data from various sources (e.g., sales reports, customer feedback, market research). Analyze trends and patterns to inform current and emerging marketing strategies.
• Engage in continuous learning through professional development. Stay informed about best practices in marketing with webinars, courses, or industry conferences on the use of analytics.
Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and at least 3+ years of relative work experience
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of location will be considered.
• Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred qualifications:
• 1+ year of a voluntary career break from your profession.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data management.
• Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The salary for this role is $90,000 a year.
