Eaton's ReSurge Returnship Program is hiring an EatonCare OPEX and Continuous Improvement Specialist located in Avery Creek, NC on a hybrid work schedule 3 days on site and 2 days remote.
This position will research, create, strategize, and execute on OPEX and CI projects for EatonCare PMO organization. The position will primarily work with the PMO employees in Avery Creek, NC but will also work regularly with the other EatonCare OPEX positions, EatonCare leadership, Marcom, product line leadership, corporate teams, and IT.
The role includes:
• Working with the OPEX team on a CI roadmap for all EatonCare
• Creation of Value Stream Maps
• Creation of Customer Journey Maps
• Implementation of Eaton's Continuous Improvement Framework
• Guidance of Kaizen and CI events
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (Engineering preferred) and at least 3+ years of relative work experience
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of location will be considered.
• Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ year of a voluntary career break from your profession
• Up to 10% travel may be required
• Proficient in Data Analysis (Excel or Power BI)
• Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma or leading improvement projects in a transactional/office environment
Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The salary for this role is $90,000 a year.
