Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Achieve the results of the main quality indicators and the Cuautitlan H5 through the implementation of the quality projects, ensure the accomplishment of quality controls of the suppliers that maintain their products and process standards by the follow-up and maintenance of the Quality Management System as well the continuous improvement tools.
Coordinate the laboratory activities including the process of product certification before institutions and coordinate the metrology laboratory activities of the site.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Ensure the compliance of quality Key process indicators of their areas and the correct deploy to all functional areas

-Responsible for managing and leading corrective and preventive actions, including non-conformities of audits, guarantees and actions derived from customers and suppliers using methodologies focused on eliminating the root cause.
-Responsible for ensuring that our suppliers comply with the quality standards defined by Eaton, maintaining active communication with them and following up on their evaluation and development.
-Manage laboratory resources to meet the annual certification program.
-Manage the metrology laboratory to ensure compliance with the plant's measurement methods and equipment.
-Lead the multidisciplinary team for the correct disposal of non-conforming material, meeting the established time and inventory value goals.
-Maintain the correct incoming inspection process that ensures that the products received are compliant and with their availability on time
-Responsible for managing human resources (review of payroll, vacations, training, development plan, etc) developing the resource through continuous training in applicable standards and procedures together with the human resources team.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the rol: Quality Supervisor and leading laboratory activities.
  • English: Conversational Advanced

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge on conformity product standards of electrical devices (UL, NOM, CSA & ETL)
  • Electricity knowledge
  • Core Tools
  • ISO 9001 actual version
  • Problem Solving methodologies
  • Internal or lead auditor.
  • Statistical tools

SKILLS

  • Promote vision and mission, supporting Eaton ethic's and values.

  • Results oriented.
  • Effective communication
  • Participate on the accomplishment on Hi5 and support metrics.
  • Responsible of their personnel management and training
