Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor. This position is based at our Perth, ON manufacturing facility. As a Quality Supervisor, reporting to Operational Excellence Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our organization. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control processes, conducting audits, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our products/services. Also, you will lead Quality Assessment activities in all areas of our site in support of the Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS), ISO and the Eaton Business System (EBS). You'll be responsible for providing support and Quality Leadership for supplier quality, process, and customer quality.

What you'll do:
- Work in partnership with the team site to support all development projects and milestones related to Quality and improve the overall process to achieve zero defect quality and launch readiness.
- Support EQMS and ISO 9001 quality system and supports the implementation and management of the site quality system and procedures.
- Support customer complaints (Internal-External) related to the facility and for tracking, monitoring and initiating Corrective Actions.
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols and conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate training programs to promote quality awareness and adherence to standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
- Supervising and following process for Return process, Quality Inspection and Product Integrity Center.
- Follow up to the key indicators about Cost of Non-Conformance (Warranty, Rework, Scrap, E&O, Freight, Maintenance & Overtime)
- Direct supervision of 5 or more employees including coaching conversations, attendance/performance management, escalating required situations to management and other supervisory responsibilities.
- Maintaining a close working relationship with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Warehouse, Production, and other internal disciplines is necessary for this position.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Post-Secondary Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or a related science
- Three (3) years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment
- Three (3) years of experience in metrology within an assembly operation, including gauging and quality testing
- Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or management position
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, specifically ISO 9001
- No sponsorship assistance offered; candidate must currently be eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future
- No relocation assistance offered; candidate must currently reside within 80km of the working location to be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in QMS as an Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor
- Previous experience performing Quality Audits to ISO 9001 standards
- Proficiency in common problem-solving methodologies/tools such as PDCA, A3, 8D, 5Why, Fishbone diagrams, is/is not tables, Pareto charts, control charts, etc.
- Previous working experience in the electrical sector or similar industry
- Proven ability to write technical documents such as procedures and specifications
- Strong understanding of lean concepts, principles, and tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Set-up Reduction, Pull Systems, and Standardized Work
- Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Expertise in inspection and testing, strong problem-solving skills, CQM, and RMA processes
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and requirements
- Proven ability to query and manipulate data using MS Excel, MS Access, Minitab, Power BI, and other programs, and transform data into actionable information
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings - knowledge of GD&T
