Eaton's AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Quality Manager. This position is to work onsite.
What you'll do:
1. Develop and implement a quality organizational structure capable of supporting the strategic initiatives of the local plant and lead the efforts to integrate quality needs into the development of short and long-term improvement plans. This includes leading/supporting the operation in the implementation of the local Quality Management System.
2. Ensures that process needed for the quality management system are established, implemented, and maintained.
3. Ensures that necessary organizational certifications and regulatory requirements are obtained, maintained, and improved. (i.e. QMS certification, NADCAP process certification, FAA, etc.

4. Establishes objectives, policies, and procedures for plant quality control activities. Reports to top management performance and any needs for QMS improvement (Management Review) as Management representative.
5. Ensure the promotion and awareness of customer and regulatory requirements throughout the organization.
6. Provide Quality interface and expertise between the operation and its customers to proactively identify or anticipate their needs and expectations and ensure they are understood and satisfied. This includes the complaint management system and the corrective/preventive action process related to customer issues - with feedback (Customer and Division) - and the coordination of customer visits and audits.
7. Develop a thorough understanding of the Eaton Business System with expertise in the tools related to Quality (e.g. - Corporate Quality Policy, Ethics, Vision, Mission, Values, Philosophy, Organizational Capability Assessment, and Corporate Accounts). Appropriate levels of this knowledge must be transferred to all subordinates as part of their personal development.
8. Lead the deployment and integration of the Eaton Quality System into the local Quality Management System.
9. Analyze key organizational quality metrics related to the Balanced Scorecard (e.g. - Customer Returns DPPM, Internal Quality, Scrap, Warranty, Cost of Nonconformance, and Supplier Quality) and perform periodic reviews to evaluate results and establish action plans to close the gaps at an operational level.
10. Provide support to the Supply Chain Management organization relative to Supplier Quality activities of the operation as well as provide Quality interface, expertise and support to the organization's suppliers and partners. This includes the feedback of supplier performance to suppliers and the Division.
11. Lead the internal Quality System Audit program for the organization and manage the corrective action system in conjunction with the management review process.
12. Recommend new or leading-edge technologies, methods, tools and procedures on the fields of quality assurance and continuous improvement to proactively address changes in the business environment.
13. Manage the performance and provide career development opportunities to all the employees within the quality function of the organization. This includes the development and implementation of training programs to build "bench strength" in the organization.
14. Ensures organizational readiness for customer, regulatory, and other third-party assessments related to the QMS.
15. Deploy Eaton Business System tools, where appropriate or required, to improve Quality Management System effectiveness (i.e. OPA, EQS, ELSS, WISPER, MESH, etc.).

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Around 8 years of experience with quality
• Strong communication skills
• ASQ Certified Quality Manager Certification or Certified Quality Engineer (or European Equiv.)
• Minitab, Excel and Power BI
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems standards and Aerospace Regulatory Requirements
