Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Quality Coordinator.

What you'll do:

What will you do?

  • Certification & Compliance: Support deployment and maintenance of all quality systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring the site's adherence to both Eaton's Quality Management System and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Participate in activities to improve quality of manufacturing processes; lead quality initiatives, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and address non-conformances through 8D/Corrective Actions.
  • Mentor and Train: Train site employees on quality tools and applications, including activities to achieve a reduction in elements of Cost of Non-Conformance (CoNC), warranty, scrap, rework, reactive maintenance, premium freight and excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Oversee Quality Documentation: Manage the administrative portion of all Quality Management Systems' documentation, maintaining an effective document control process.
  • Quality Metrics: Dive deep into manufacturing and quality data to identify trends and proactively address potential risks to products and customers. This includes coordinating with test teams for customer witness tests and contributing to robust quality processes.
  • Environment, Health & Safety: Contribute to site environmental, health and safety initiatives by identifying and eliminating waste.
  • You will present a variety of safety training topics to groups of employees

What will make you successful?

The successful candidate will have some experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of quality tools. It will be someone who is able to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
They should have an ability to communicate effectively with both office and production employees and influence continuous improvement in the site's quality processes, as well as the ability to maintain quality documentation.
It is also crucial for the successful candidate to be aligned with Eaton's values, including to have a safety-first mindset and value inclusion and diversity.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• College diploma or university degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in quality in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
• Only candidates residing within an 80 km radius of Milton will be considered for this position. No moving (relocation) is offered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Quality Engineer or in progress.
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or in progress.
• Experience in a fabrication/assembly environment.
• Experience with Project Management.
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge and auditing.
