Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Project Manager. This position requires the selected candidate to be ONSITE, Monday-Friday at our Omaha Nebraska Eaton location.

We manufacture metal clad, and gas insulated switchgear that supports data centers, utility companies, and various industrial applications.
As a Project Manager, you will manage all aspects of the post order process with our customers. You'll oversee technical and commercial questions regarding our engineered to order projects to align to customer specifications, multiple delivery schedules, and further differentiate our product through a complete customer experience. You will manage the various technical details of the orders, as well as key timelines for various deliverables between internal and external customers. You will work closely with our customers, their teams, and others to deliver items on time. You'll leverage data to analyze for trends within multiple markets and internal situations and provide key insights to improve performance measures.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:
In this role:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects between Eaton, customer, sales representatives, and the sales & marketing team, ensuring successful project execution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the product sales engineer and customer support team to review quotes and project documentation, ensuring a seamless post-order handoff and smooth project management transition.
- Work with peer product sales engineers, application engineers, sales team members to manage project scope, timelines, changes, approvals, and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure alignment on project execution requirements, including scheduling, drawing coordination, bill of material verification, witness test support, delivery, and warranty.
- Create, implement, and manage a detailed project schedule for each assigned project.
- Deliver financial management by overseeing scope, handling change orders, managing warranties, and mitigating risks.
- Arrange and facilitate project meetings (both internal and external) and create formal communication plans for key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of assigned projects.
- Share detailed Voice of Customer feedback with relevant product and service teams to inform future product development, quality improvements, processes, and customer satisfaction efforts.
- Guide and mentor team members, showcasing advanced project management, operational, and commercial skills to boost team effectiveness.
- Act as an advocate for continuous improvement within the team by promoting and expanding the use of digital tools, benchmarking and refining current processes, and aiding in change management practices.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 3 years of project management -OR- High School Diploma/GED with PMP Certification and 5 years of project management experience
- No relocation is available for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50-mile radius of Eaton's Omaha Nebraska facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- PMP Certification
- 7+ Years of project management experience
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI and Copilot

- Ability to travel up to 10%.
