Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Program Manager I. This is a hybrid position located at our Peachtree City, GA office.
The Program Manager I is responsible for management of new product development for electric vehicle charging within Connected Solutions. This role is responsible for managing the project planning, execution, scope, budget, risk, and issue tracking. This will include the use of a phase-gate process, Design and Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA's), Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP), SIOP input, and industrialization. In addition, this position will assist engineering in product transitioning.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:
- Execute project scope successfully within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
- Establish objectives, goals, and provide direction to the program teams in areas of customer needs, potential changes in scope, and risk assessment.
- Ensure the program team creates and maintains deliverables, leads the team throughout phases and Gate Review events.
- Ensure standard program management processes are utilized by coordinating reviews, preparing & publishing metrics and reports through appropriate PM tools.
- Work in cross-disciplinary manner with other departments (e.g., Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, Customer Support, Suppliers, etc.) and facilitate team meetings to execute the phase-gate process.
- Apply financial acumen to complete required capital appropriation request for the assigned programs, forecast budgetary needs, and track and spent.
- Track risks, develop and implement mitigation plans through collaboration to ensure challenges are solved before impacting project timelines.
- Communicate timely project status to internal leaders.
- Track and maintain customer issues to ensure solutions are implemented efficiently.
- Understand project impact to the business and identify impact of project changes on the portfolio.
- Manage third party ODM and OEM partners by providing direction, removing barriers, driving accountability, tracking progress, and integrating activities into the overall program schedule. Maintain high level knowledge of contractual agreements to ensure compliance.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in engineering, manufacturing, or program management.
- At least 1 year of experience in leadership of project teams.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Peachtree City, GA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with New Product Development and stage-gate process.
- Engineering or manufacturing experience related to electric vehicle charging or smart devices.
- PMP Certification, or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
- Experience in Agile Program Management.

- Excel at leading large, global teams.
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills - both verbal and written to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer.
- Able to manage third party contractual relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Able to achieve goals by working collaboratively and cross-functionally.
- Capable of initiating and providing recommendations for Business Unit and Division senior leadership review and approval that will achieve desired outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Stays current on advances and initiatives in the PM field and serves as a change agent. Evaluates and implements new PM tools to improve quality and efficiency as needed.
- Able to travel on business up to 10% of the time.
