  • As the Technical product Owner for edge Linux (embedded) platform technologies in our center in India, you will work with a diverse team of talented embedded software developers, Scrum Masters, QA/Test as well as have strong collaboration with product marketing managers in the business and more.
  • You will lead the team by setting dev priorities, ensuring the achievement of deliverables and other milestones, establish a progressive work culture, and improve the way we deliver value to our customers.

Qualifications:

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in delivering software projects, acting as a technical product owner or technical project manager.
  • Experience with defining system requirements for embedded software.
  • Experience with full life cycle software development using standard software processes
  • Exceptional ability to lead, collaborate, openly communicate, influence others, present and negotiate effectively across disciplines and stakeholders (marketing, engineering, customer support, etc.).
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, delegate within team, and ability to work under deadline pressures.
  • Fluency in English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners around the world, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry.
  • Experience with Linux OS, Edge X Foundry

Skills:

  • Lead global distributed agile teams as the Technical Product Owner, keeping abreast with agile best practices.
  • Assist the Edge Product Manager with the vision for the Linux platforms in collaboration with, and with input from, the base business divisional stakeholders (including Offer Management)
  • Assist in maintaining the product roadmap for existing and upcoming Linux products in collaboration with the base business divisional stakeholders, Offer Management in collaboration with the Edge Product Manager.
  • Work closely with engineering managers and technical leads/architects to create and maintain product backlogs based onstrategic priority and business value.
  • Develop appropriately detailed requirements for platform features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams.
  • Communicate with stakeholders across the business including product leaders, business managers, and the development teams to communicate the technical requirements and inform to the roadmap.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes are followed including liaising between QA/Test and Dev Ops, documenting requirements, reviewing test plans, and approving work items making sure they meet quality requirements.
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functional and non-functional requirements..
  • Take an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful teams' completion of release/sprint goals.
  • Assist the PMO in project management for products that involve the teams and/or the products.
  • Assist in the development of documentation and training of stakeholders on new platform functional and non-functional requirements
