We are hiring a talented Product Data Engineer to join our EMEA Emergency Lighting Product Management team. In the current market context, product data represent an important and mandatory element to enable growth and success of Life Safety Portfolio.

What you'll do:
As Product Data Engineer for Emergency Lighting, you are responsible for the management of all products related data including mechanical, electrical and lighting distribution data in all the interchange format required by the business.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, operations, marketing and sales to develop and release product information to our partner customers and internal audience.
You are directly responsible for data maintenance, keeping product information clean and up to date. The product information and data will be stored and linked with the internal tools like Product Data Hub and published/linked with company website (Eaton.com), customer's website via BMEcat and all other publications and tools using product data.
The role reports directly to the Head of Product Management (Emergency Lighting).
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall product data in the company databases.
- Work closely with Product Managers to support product introduction.
- Liaise with Field Product Managers for proper product localization.
- Manage customer's request for product data (BMEcat).
- Keep up to date the Emergency Lighting documentation store.
- Support the creation of product collaterals by providing and collecting the product data from different entities.
- Support the sales team for any product data related queries.
- Manage the lighting calculation tools database (Dialux, Relux)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Eng. or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in similar position (lighting industry preferred)
Skills:
- Experience in commercial and/or Project Management role preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Intercultural awareness - customer and business relations
- Digital mindset
- English - Business level
