Eaton's FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Procurement Supervisor.

The Materials Value Stream Senior Analyst will lead all buying and planning responsibilities in support of assigned value stream products for the Reynosa Filtration plant. The materials champion for their assigned value stream, the tenured incumbent will own and facilitate all materials processes and tactics required to sustain value stream supply chain performance which minimizes cost and supports meeting overall business objectives. Critical processes to be managed by this role include, but are not limited to: SIOP, production planning / scheduling, rough-cut capacity planning, inventory optimization and facilitation of supply chain CI efforts.

Job responsibilties

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Lead and facilitate all buying and planning responsibilities within assigned value stream
- Provide coaching and support to value stream buyers / planners; act as primary escalation point
- Maintain all critical system parameters, safeguarding ERP health and supporting efficiency of value supply chain planning processes
- Maintain inventory and service levels required to support value stream materials strategy and organization objectives; own and coordinate SIOP, production planning / scheduling and other materials management efforts within assigned value stream
- Define and maintain value stream lead times; act as the primary liaison between plant and sales / customer support; facilitate communication and accurate reporting of ship dates and OTD
- Generate and publish value stream materials reporting and scorecards; manage performance gaps to closure
- Accountable for ongoing supplier performance / management; ensure supplier compliance to ongoing requirements; manage ongoing performance gaps to closure
- Manage inbound freight with suppliers in compliance with FILT freight policy and minimizing total landed cost
- Provide support for sourcing, cost-out and CI projects to division supply chain leaders
- Represent materials / supply chain on all fabrication / EPC and NPD projects, owning all purchasing and materials supporting activities
- Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • supply chain management

Years and area of experience required

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial setting; prior plant experience a must (Desirable)
  • Experience as a Procurement (raw material and MRO)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Minitab (or other statistical software equivalent)
  • Experience supervising teams

Technical knowledge

  • Fluency in English and Spanish a must
