What you'll do:

The Process Excellence Specialist enhances Materials Planning in the ES EMEA region by analyzing, defining, and implementing improvements for operational efficiency. This role involves managing daily activities, including supplier relationships, while ensuring alignment with continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Improvements: Spot weaknesses in material management processes and gather ideas for enhancement.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Analyze process failures and assess their impacts.
  • Implement Solutions: Define corrective actions and initiate improvement projects.
  • SAP Expertise: Act as a key user in SAP for effective system utilization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct audits and lead improvement events, collaborating with the IT BRM team.
  • Support Integration: Assist in the EMEA integration phase and implement processes in distribution centers.
  • Power BI Leadership: Serve as the Power BI key user, leveraging data analytics for decision-making.
  • Project Leadership: Lead workstreams in selected ES EMEA projects focused on materials management.
  • Process Governance: Oversee processes to enhance planning parameters and replenishment strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work with the SIOP team, ES EMEA Material Planning, and Operational Procurement for seamless operations.
  • MRP Management: Govern MRP modules of the Un1ty System and manage local material data.
  • Support MRB Activities: Assist with Material Review Board activities in distribution centers.
  • Integration into SIOP: Facilitate the integration of Material Planning into EATON's SIOP process.
  • Audit Design: Collaborate to design and implement audits in Material Planning and Operational Procurement.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Up to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position externally.

Skills:

  • SAP MM Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SAP Materials Management.
  • MS Office Mastery: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Project Management: Strong project management capabilities to drive initiatives to successful completion.
  • Presentation Skills: Exceptional ability to create and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Mentoring and Education: Passion for mentoring and educating team members to foster growth and development.
