Eaton's Electrical Sector is hiring an Operations Manager in Pondicherry, India.
What you'll do:
- Lead the plant operations team to deliver High5 metrics month on month and to support sales team to meet the Top line as per PP.
- Drive continuous improvement culture with the team to continuously upgrade the performance of the operations team to meet the high 5 metrics every month through effective use EBS tools.
- Build a culture of team work across all functions in the operations so that in addition to individual functional goal , every member works for the plant goal and also focusses actions to achieve revenue numbers as per the Business PP.
- Review performances on intervals and mitigate action plan to meet the desired targets.
- Lead India ES Operations to achieve High 5 for the plant month on month by coordinating with all functions AND product segments across the plant.
- Work with India ES commercial team to achieve revenue target through timely delivering various products manufactured from the plant and through imports.
- Driving CI culture with all functions of operations to continuously upgrade the plant performances.
- Drive team to implement EBS related tools based on need basis and sustain model plant and move towards Light House plant
- Establish setting the LEAN lines for all the localization and NPI products as per Strategic plans
- Drive ZISC in the plant with cross functional support of safety department
- Drive manufacturing profit YOY and reduce manufacturing rate YOY through productivity projects
- Support ELSS cost out through productivity projects in shop floor
- Drive Operations CAPEX execution as per PP timelines
- Ensure Industrial harmony in the plant through trust , transparency and through actions based on incidents

Qualifications:
B.E. Degree
20 years experience within a minimum of 5 years as head of operations
Skills:
Product knowledge in Electrical products assembly
Leadership qualities (should have successfully managed teams) , LEAN Knowledge , SAP Basic knowledge , Knowledge on safety , Basis quality tools ,Conflict management
