Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking an Operations Manager. This position will be located at our Bethel, CT facility. Relocation benefits will be provided within the United States only.
As a member of the site leadership team, the primary responsibility of the Operations Manager is to manage production activities and resources per established practices and/or policies to ensure the achievement of the site's safety, quality, and customer requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive employee relationship environment by demonstrating Eaton's Values, Ethics and Philosophies.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

What you'll do:
• Drive the company's vision and mission by reinforcing Ethics, Values and Quality policies throughout the site.
• Lead shop floor excellence and drive Ops for Growth strategy.
• Proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment through diligence in incident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement.
• Fully engage workforce and promote personal accountability by identifying goals, and empowering employees to drive decision making. Foster innovation and promote continuous learning by providing formal and informal feedback on employee performance.
• Provide specific focus and management on OTD, Gross Utilization/Productivity, shop floor variable spending, and other key operational metrics.
• Partner with the Supply Chain department to ensure continuous alignment between demand forecasts and load/capacity plans to optimize schedule execution.
• Provide leadership and support to direct reports to discuss expectations, progress of work, and resolution of problems to ensure that the site operational objectives are met.
• Drive continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business System processes and problem-solving tools in line with the Continuous Improvement Framework.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of eight (8) years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Master's degree or MBA from an accredited institution.
• Aerospace or other highly regulated industry experience.

• Demonstrated results in implanting Continuous Improvement tools and Management Systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
• Advanced working knowledge in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
