What you'll do:
"The Incumbent in this role will lead Sourcing activities for New Products which are designed by EIIC and to be manufactured in India. The person in this role will closely work with following functions to drive deployment of NPI strategic initiatives by supporting on supplier outreach and Sourcing in alignment with Category Teams. Provide execution support to Global Commodity Managers to implement Best Cost Country sourcing strategies to meet business objectives.

"1. Supplier Outreach, Commercial support, Negotiations, Provide BOM cost estimates to support launch of New Products in India with specific focus on Electrical business.

2. Support EIIC and Operations team to launch New Products in India
3. India Business growth: Development and implementation of the sourcing strategy in support of assigned Bid Proposals programs in alignment with Commodity Management for the identification of new strategic suppliers to align with Category Strategies.
4. Identify potential suppliers capable of meeting the requirements of immediate and future needs in co-ordination with GCMs and Business teams.
5. Work closely with Stakeholders including GPO, Business, Site SCM, GSC CoE, DMP & Engineering to maximize growth to execute sourcing strategies and to achieve SCM objectives.
6. Leverage/deploy best-in-class processes globally in coordination with Eaton Strategic Sourcing's supplier development initiatives; including Supplier Assessment, Should Cost/Total Cost Models, ESSP, Tail Spend Mgmt., Supplier Scorecards and Supplier Risk Assessment.
7. Work closely with Supplier Development team to ensure flawless launch of awarded projects in the region and Supplier Performance
8. Conduct supplier business review in alignment with Procurement organizations to enhance supplier performance and relationship
9. Maintain knowledge of global economics and commodities to optimize sourcing plans to achieve Eaton's financial targets.
10. Evaluate supply terms and conditions & proceed with supplier contract including long term pricing & year on year price reductions.
12. Know how to utilizes and apply project management tools and techniques for procurement applications
12. Drive compliance to the Eaton Code of Ethics and hold others accountable for ethical conduct in the function

Qualifications:
Engineering Degree (Electrical or Mechanical)
"12-18 Yrs of hands on experience in Sourcing and Commodity Management. Engineering / Manufacturing domain, Electrical industry preferred.
Skills:
