The expected annual salary range for this role is $63333.0 - $92888.4 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What will you do?
- Material Status Review: Review material status and release job folders for production. Attend escalation calls to resolve material shortage issues. Provide timely updates of material status to production in the weekly order status meetings.
- Purchase Order Management: Release Purchase Orders (PO's) from MRP workbench. Analyze and reschedule PO's to ensure material availability and control inventory levels. Review MRP exception messages and reschedule purchase orders to control inventory levels.
- Inventory Reduction: Review Excess & Obsolete and slow-moving inventory to drive reduction through return, reuse, or scrap. Action non-conformance reports and determine disposition where responsible.
- Stocking Policy Adjustment: Periodically review demand history to adjust stocking policy and min-max level. Set up and maintain kanban cards.
- Supplier Forecasting: Provide supplier forecasting information from forecast/schedules where required. Monitor and resolve invoice issues.
- Inventory Management: Plan and allocate materials based on prescribed methodology and provide timely delivery to customers. Assist with cycle count, inventory adjustments, and root cause analysis to prevent inventory errors. Analyze inventory levels and meet Days on Hand objectives. Support plant lean, safety, quality, and continuous improvement efforts. Manage or support supplier performance improvement objectives primarily around delivery or quality expectations. Participate in Annual Physical Inventory.
Qualifications:
Basic (required) Qualifications:
- College diploma or university degree from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years of experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- Only candidates residing within an 80 km radius of Milton will be considered for this position. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience using an MRP system.
- Two (2) years of experience working in a material planning (or related) role in an engineered-to-order manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma Tools.
- Six Sigma Green or Black belt certification.
- APICS certification or working towards.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of purchasing techniques and supplier management, be able to effectively multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team. They should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with a strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Access, and strong proficiency using MRP software, with Oracle knowledge as an asset, is essential. The successful candidate will also have a strong technical aptitude of electrical distribution and control systems and demonstrate effective time management, prioritization, and project management skills.
