What you'll do:
As the Marketing Content Systems Manager oversee Eaton's component content strategy and technology including integrations and processes that relate to creating, publishing, and distributing marketing and technical information across multiple channels. This role works with a global team of technical writers, content consumers, and technology partners to understand their challenges and listen for opportunities to deliver new value. The role will also manage the Adobe Guides platform and ensure that the user community has the training to complete work, the platform is configured to consistently create and deliver content, and integrations like translations and delivery channels are functioning as needed.
You will also:
- Lead the processes and systems for how content The product owner of the technical documentation scrum team, this role will serve as the technology platform expert and evangelist for Adobe Guides.
- Develop multiyear platform roadmap and business cases in partnership with IT that aligns with business goals and technology investments.
- Maintain the platform enhancement backlog, provide capability recommendations, and report progress to stakeholders.
- Manage organizational change related to documentation technology systems, including establishing, supporting, and growing the community of practice.
- Oversee Adobe Guides author training, including using DITA structure and adhering to Eaton brand standards.
- Partner with insights, marketing, customer experience, user experience, channel strategy, and agency teams to support end-to-end customer journey experiences.
- Collaborate with process leadership team and other technology teams to review and revise operational processes and integrations.
- Partner with customer support, product, and knowledge management teams to integrate and support content goal for knowledge hubs and product pages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technical writing, marketing, communications, computer science or similar fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience planning and managing content creation and distribution including writing, advanced knowledge of DITA, CCMS applications, and program strategy management skills.
Skills:
- Proficiency using CCMS technical authoring platforms like Adobe Guides. Familiarity with CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), knowledge management applications, translation services. Experience with working capablity enhancements as part of an agile development team.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
