Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Logistics and Trade Compliance Analyst.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function is to ensure that all import and export activities comply with local and international trade regulations while optimizing logistics operations. This involves coordinating shipments with the carriers, forwarders, and customs brokers, optimizing transit times, managing documentation, conducting compliance audits, analyzing logistics data, and mitigating potential compliance risks. The role also includes providing training and support to staff, collaborating with various departments, maintain accurate records to ensure smooth and efficient trade operations, maintain updated and accurate records in the IMMEX Inventory Control System. This role is essential for ensuring the company remains compliant with international trade security standards while maintaining a secure and efficient supply chain (OEA-CTPAT certifications)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Coordinate and manage import and export activities to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
B. Communicate with logistics providers and customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely shipment of goods.
C. Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and retained for compliance purposes (Record Keeping)
D. Conduct audits and evaluations of internal and external business partners to verify compliance with global trade regulations.
E. Ensure all import / export activities comply with local and international trade laws, including customs regulations, trade agreements and applying the proper programs to optimize costs (Regla 8a, PROSEC)
F. Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for import export activities.
G. Maintain accurate records and generate reports on compliance and logistics performance.
H. Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
I. Monitor trade activities to ensure ongoing compliance and inventory violations.
J. Analyze logistics data to assess the efficiency of supply chain operations.
K. Coordinate with external partners to ensure their compliance with trade regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade and/or International Low
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
