Innovative Medicines Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one "clean" ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. The program will simplify the Innovative Medicines ERP landscape from 7 platforms to 1, standardizing processes to drive a cost effective, fit for purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Innovative Medicines business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.
This role will deliver the Innovative Medicines global template for the ERP Global Trade Compliance processes and enable new capabilities for emerging supply chain needs within IM E2E Supply Chain (R&D, Clinical and Commercial)
The position drives the delivery of SAP S/4HANA and GTS4HANA capabilities in the Global Trade space and governs the J&J IM template and must connect across functional domains to enable an End-to-End integrated solution.
The Technical Product Owner ERP Logistics Global Trade will be an active member of the IM Supply Chain JJT team, driving global standardization within Innovative Medicines ERP technology solutions and enabling of the corresponding ERP solutions:
- Product Trade Classification
- Global Trade Compliance (License Management, Embargo, SPL Screening)
- Trade Preferences / Free Trade Agreements.
This role must work on close collaboration with parallel programs currently on going within J&J.
The Technical Product Owner ERP Logistics Global Trade will be an active member of the ERP Logistics J&J technology team and will work with consultants within this scope while partnering with other J&J Technology functions to drive global standardization within Innovative Medicines ERP technology solutions.
The role will partner with the Innovative Medicines Transcend business process owners, Transcend Technical Product Managers and Owners, ecosystem owners and various vendor partners to ensure end to end capabilities are delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
Roadmap & Backlog
- Prioritize new technical features and/or enhancements for Trade Compliance and Trade Preferences to meet business needs within the squad.
- Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing features, optimizing cost, and improving delivery efficiency.
- Further refine the backlog by adding technical features and epics; work with functional and technical consultants and Product owners, driving the squad execution and handling the features' backlog.
- Help Global Template Managers to prioritize their backlogs, handle product / platform constraints, and resolve cross-team dependencies.
Solutioning
- Responsible for solution design and implementation for Global Trade Compliance processes for Innovative Medicines Supply Chain on the ERP platform and the integration with the ERP ecosystem
- Partner with Global Process Managers to drive process standardization and with system integrator to meet requirements through clean core, best in class design
- Deliver the best fit technical solutions while aligning to Transcend program design and implementation standards
- Work with the technology team to assess tech elements of the solution to avoid the generation of technical debt.
Delivery
- Drive the solution build and deployment
- Responsible for planning and execution of Technical Testing and support business workstream lead to plan and implement Business Simulation and User Acceptance Testing
- Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, ensures SDLC documentation, system configuration and compliance activities are up to date as required.
- Drive continual measurement of capabilities against demand volume, complexity, business challenges and improvement within value stream(s)
Qualifications
Required:
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
Preferred:
Domain Expertise
- Understanding of Supply Chain Logistics business processes and the end-to-end business processes linkages, specially Sales Order Management, Source, Finance and Data processes.
- Knowledge of SAP-ERP Logistics technical capabilities
- Knowledge of SAP GTS technical capabilities
- Exposure to Advanced Therapies and Clinical distribution processes
- Exposure to Global Trade Compliance processes
- Experience in Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare industry and good Knowledge of SOX & GxP compliance regulations.
- Experience with Agile methodology and Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $91,000 to $147,200.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
