What you'll do:

2025 Internship - Supply Chain

Mission Systems Division in Davenport, Iowa is seeking a Supply Chain - Intern to work for a dynamic team in a fast-paced, aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. Eaton's internship program offers real world experience and mentoring through a variety of activities and assignments.

The supply chain organization at Mission Systems Division Davenport spans across multiple supply chain disciplines to include sourcing, contracts, procurement, planning, inventory, scheduling, SIOP, & stores. A Supply Chain Intern will be responsible for supply chain management projects. The projects assigned could span across and into other functions. Projects will have moderate complexity. Projects will require strong analytical and presentation abilities as the selected Intern will be required to utilize MRP and other systems to support and develop their project strategy.

Mission Systems Division Davenport is particularly interested in candidates who are eager to learn and have an eye for improvements. Priority will be given to those who have an expressed desire to have a future career in Supply Chain within the aerospace field.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead a project with moderate complexity.
  • Present and update project status to multiple levels of audience.
  • Gain knowledge & experience of key systems.
  • Run and provide metrics and data sets.
  • Follow up on actions with internal and external customers.
  • Assist with functional tactics.
  • Assist with supply chain & planning strategies.
  • Assist with running reports and/or pulling customer specific information.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Junior/Senior status towards a Bachelor's degree.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please don't round).
  • Must be geographically flexible to relocate within United States.
  • This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
