What you'll do:

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) division is seeking a Software Developer Intern. This position will be located at the Eaton Americas Innovation Center in Brossard, Québec, Canada and offers hybrid work opportunities. Candidates should reside within 80km of Brossard, Québec, Canada.

As a member of a multidisciplinary development team, the software developer intern will participate in the design and development of high-tech software and projects.

Main functions:

  • Designs, develops, and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable source code.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of our software. Participates in improving productivity through innovation and automation.
  • Develops audit plans and quality assurance processes.
  • Writes user manuals.

Qualifications:

Required Qualification

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Candidates must live within an 80 km radius of Brossard, Québec, Canada.

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server or MS-Access.
  • Very good knowledge of C# or C++ programming languages.
  • Experience in programming graphical interfaces.
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Visual Studio environment and the .NET platform.
  • Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming.
