Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Material Planning Intern.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.30 per hour.

What you'll do:

This internship is within the Badger SCM Materials Planning team that supports Eaton's Line PDRD Product lines. As a Planning Intern, you will perform analyst role supporting planners, analyzing Bill of Material and review aged WIP and COGI , Process improvements and work instruction development.

As a Planning Intern, you are an integral part of the Materials Fab and Coils team which is responsible for the Scheduling Material releases to the Operations team for Product line Regulators and Transformers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with cross functional team
  • Developing and reporting Planned metrics
  • Learn and perform analysis and developing reports using analytical tools like Power BI
  • Support the Planned team with review aged WIP and COGI
  • Collaborating with Planners to develop Work instructions for Planning team.
  • Coordinates the Warehouse and Operations teams on Material availability
  • Work closely with Planning and buying team with RCCA for any Inventory discrepancies

Qualifications:

Basic Qualification

  • Currently enrolled in or received a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain from an accredited institution
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please don't round).
  • Able to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship.
  • Relocation is not being offered for this position, candidate must reside/attend school within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to SAP preferable
  • Excellent Excel skill set
  • Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience.
