What you'll do:
Job Summary
The Inside Project Engineer support on the engineering set up of Eaton's electrical products at the component and assembly levels for residential projects.
Job Responsibilities
• Ability to develop customer relationships and work in collaborative team environments
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers for assigned projects
• Leverage internal contacts to drive issues to closure
• Review and interpret contract drawings ensuring technical accuracy
• Execute technical changes to the bill of material
• Interpret engineered-to-order drawings
• Pursue continuous learning of products and applications related to engineered products

• Collaborates with the Project Management Team including Project Managers, Sales Engineers, Project Coordinators, other Project Engineers, and the Documentation Team
• Lead verbal or written communication with internal stakeholders to address technical scope and design concerns
• Review and collaborate with 3rd party systems for uploading project documentation
• Provide weekly progress updates on existing issues until items are closed
• Prioritize workload to manage deliverables
• Participate in internal team calls to engage help where needed to resolve issues
• Perform all other duties as required by Manager

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution preferred
• Minimum experience (3 years)
• Commercial experience (Electrical assemblies knowledge a plus)
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Advanced English business and technical level (Read/Write/Speak)
• Working knowledge of Eaton proprietary software (Bidmanager, Vista, Order Center, C360)
• Experience or exposure to a manufacturing organization
• The candidate must possess a strong understanding of the engineering technologies of Eaton's electrical product offerings at the component and assembly levels
• Possess necessary computer skills including Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, internet and Microsoft Office applications, and other product configuration tools
