Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton's largest office in the region. With a diverse team of over 700 people, representing 40+ nationalities and speaking 20+ languages, the BSC is the central hub for business services. What you'll do:
The responsibility of the HR Services Specialist is to provide expert consultation services and solutions for routine and complex employee relations issues related to performance management, employee life cycle, fleet management, attendance, process guidelines, and policies. Your will also act as key HR contact for managers for advice, support. Be part of a collaborative team of 5 members who work together to achieve common goals. You will report directly to an HRS Team Leader.
- Processing new hires, promotions, employee status changes, and other employee lifecycle events in Eaton systems
- Processing pay changes and HR documents including: promotions/demotions/transfers, ad hoc wage/salary changes
- Scheduling interviews
- Ensuring that all necessary documents and approvals have been received and information is entered accurately
- Resolving errors related to job or employee information
- Coordinating data entry into third party systems where not automated
- Answering employee's queries about HR-related issues in our internal ticketing system
- Arranging travel accommodations and process expense forms
- Creating HR process documentation
- Committing and delivering process improvements to keep processes optimized
- Preparing reports
- Supporting global mobility process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 2+ years of experience in HR or another SSC field
Skills:
- Fluent communication skills in English and Italian
- Basic Excel knowledge (advanced level is a plus)
- Customer service orientation
- Problem-solving attitude
- Organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in team and independently
- Adaptable and flexible
