What you'll do:
As an HR Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation services and solutions for routine and complex employee relations issues related to performance management, employee life cycle, fleet management, attendance, process guidelines, and policies. You will also act as a key HR contact for managers for advice and support.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Handle complex, confidential, and/or sensitive inquiries/requests and assume ownership of cases, following established processes
- Support the review, update, and maintenance of HR Services documentation for assigned areas (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes
- Proactively escalates issues as needed to the appropriate partner within HR
- Follow up with employees and managers on incomplete processes, resolution of HR and benefit issues, timesheet discrepancies
- Perform quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and thoroughness of all HR services delivered to partners
- Identify areas of process improvement and potential liability regarding HR compliance
- Provide necessary trainings to new HR team members and managers concerning HR Services procedures
- Coordinate, assist and conduct investigations as assigned
- Prepare reports and analyze data on HRS metrics and translate for use in discussions for performance review meetings
- Conduct data quality reviews, monitor and correct processing errors
- Participate in HR projects
- Give mentoring support for junior team members/new joiners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 2+ years of experience in HR or another SSC field
Skills:
- Excel knowledge
- Fluent German language skills is a must
- Demonstrated effectiveness and ability to work independently
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to coordinate projects/project team
- Stakeholder management
