Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton's largest office in the region. With a diverse team of over 700 people, representing 40+ nationalities and speaking 20+ languages, the BSC is the central hub for business services. It empowers seamless operations and drives exceptional results across our electrical, industrial, and corporate teams.

What you'll do:

The HR Operational Excellence (OpEx) Manager for the EMEA region plays a pivotal role in supporting global standard HR processes, driving continuous improvement, and achieving Eaton's strategic objectives. As the OpEx leader, the incumbent will oversee a small team of analysts and specialists, ensuring alignment with the overall HR structure and strategy. Responsibilities include planning and executing process improvement projects, as well as actively participating in new HR implementations following Eaton's Continuous Improvement Standards. The position directly reports to the Global HR OpEx Director.

Your responsibilities will be:

HR Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and manage implementations of opportunities for process enhancements and harmonizations, waste reduction, and cost savings across the HR function.
  • Build CI knowledge within HR OpEx team by leveraging Lean/Six Sigma strategies and Eaton's Business System (EBS) tools to drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR/COE teams to establish and improve harmonized processes using lean techniques (e.g., value stream mapping, process mapping).
  • Lead change management strategies during process implementations.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of HR OpEx analysts and specialists.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and the broader HR function.
  • Coordinate with the corporate EBS team to embrace elements of the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), Six Sigma, and Lean tools.

Digitization and Technology Support

  • Identify opportunities for digitalization and automation within HR processes.
  • Participate in pilot programs aimed at automating tasks, processes, and data flows.
  • Support reporting aligned with CI programs to monitor efficiency and productivity improvements
  • Analyze and submit requests for ServiceNow enhancements, considering user experience, business case, and global standardization.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Engineering desired, other areas welcome.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with process improvement and/or technology implementations

Skills:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced with Lean/Six Sigma tools - SS/Lean Green belt certification preferred.
  • Experience with HR processes is a plus.
  • Passion for Continuous Improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability for effective change management.
  • Skilled at metrics and data analysis.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Strong customer service and customer experience focus, organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong process and results orientation in terms of ownership of accomplishments, juggling multiple priorities, and sharing of knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to collaborate with peer resources.
  • Technical aptitude to learn, understand, and develop in HR platforms and technologies such as ServiceNow, Visier, etc.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of ServiceNow, HRMS, SuccessFactors, and other key HR support processes and systems desirable.
