Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a GTM Compliance Analyst.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function is to ensure that Eaton / Cooper Wiring Devices adhere to all relevant trade regulations and compliance requirements to support the International Trade and VAT regulations to optimize tax-related processes. Ensure that the company operates smoothly within legal framework, avoiding penalties and optimizing trade processes.
This role is essential for ensuring the company remains compliant with international trade security standards while maintaining a secure and efficient supply chain (OEA-CTPAT certifications)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Managing Import and Export Operations: Overseeing the temporary importation and exportation processes under the IMMEX program and the definitive regimen.

B. Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and retained for compliance purposes
C. Compliance audits: Conducting audits and evaluations of internal and external business partners to verify compliance with global trade regulations.
D. Cost reduction Initiatives: Launching initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining compliance
E. Training and Reporting: Participating in compliance training and preparing necessary reports to meet regulatory requirements.
F. Regulatory Audits: Preparing for and participating in audits conducted by Mexican customs authorities to verify compliance to IMMEX requirements
G. Training and awareness: Conducting training sessions for staff on IMMEX regulations and updates to ensure everyone is aware of compliance requirements
H. Document Management: Keeping detailed records of all VAT-related transactions, including exemption requests, approvals, and invoices.
I. VAT returns: Preparing and delivering accurate information for the VAT returns to avoid penalties.
J. Inventory Control: Implement robust inventory management processes to track the movement of goods and materials, ensuring that all temporary imports are accounted for and exported within the specified time frame.
K. Work closely with production, logistics, finance, engineering, and materials to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management. #LI-DG2
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade and/or International Low
- Minimum 1 year of experience in similar role
- Manufacturing industry background
- English 60%
- Knowledge in IMMEX program compliance
- Knowledge in OEA & IVA certifications compliance
