Eaton's Protection, Control and Solutions (PCS) Group is currently seeking a FP&A Specialist. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week) based at our Moon Township, PA location. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

What you'll do:

As FP&A Specialist, you will report directly to our Senior Manager of Finance, PCS and support the $3B PCS group (5 divisions) with financial planning & analysis and operational financial initiatives. You will specialize in analyzing financial data and providing insights related to the operations. You will work closely with both the division FP&A and division leadership teams, decision making and optimize financial performance within the group.

Key responsibilities of the FP&A Specialist will include:

  • Financial Analysis and Performance Reporting: prepare regular financial reports and performance updates for management, highlighting key financial metrics and variances to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Operations Finance: Partner with division finance directors and division/group leadership to achieve financial results through financial analysis, SCM variances/commodities, costing and productivity; including ownership of the manufacturing productivity analysis for the group.
  • Commercial Finance: Partner with group and division leadership to support development of commercial finance within PCS, providing reporting expertise and performing group mix analyses.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate cross functionally to identify inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities that can lead to improved results.
  • Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.
  • Supporting initiatives (including CAPEX and inventory) and influence changes: evaluate proposals for productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality, and supply chain management.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the group and support mitigation strategies.
  • Forecasting: Lead consolidation of short range planning activities of the five divisions and the PCS group including monthly forecast reviews and mid-month pulse reviews.
  • Long Range Planning: Support the main financial processes for the five divisions and the PCS group including annual strategic and operating plans.
  • Financial Modeling: Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on performance.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work closely cross functionally to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans.
  • Finance Transformation: Support the finance various finance and leadership teams through finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and/or FP&A
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from accredited institution
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry preferred
  • Previous experience at Division or Group level, or consolidating multiple sites

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills
  • Ability to travel no more than 10%
