Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Financial Analyst.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position is directly responsible of updating and maintaining monthly closing activities (MAPICS, ORACLE, VISTA, ENCORE) systems. Elaborate all the necessary entries during the month and at the month end for closing purposes related to this position. Supporting of Profit plan and Forecast processes. Process and prepare inventory reconciliations and several analyses to measure the profitability by product line and/or product/project level. Prepare daily sales report & margins, inventory on hand, landing factor, Avoid negative quantities and Zero cost items. In addition, this position should be allocated to perform analysis and reports to support directly the Accounting Mgr and Controller. (i.e, Inventory, MPV, MUV, Fixed & variable cost analysis, budget maintenance, Cost of non-conformance, etc.)..

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for Monthly Sales & cost closing by product line reconciling Vista vs Oracle.
• Support profit plan and forecast process.
• Responsible for Std margin review by project to look for opportunities and ensure its accuracy.
• Coordinate with SCM, OPEX, Mfg Engr. to ensure costed BOM for new project are correct.
• Responsible for coordinating SCM and Finance to determine new std cost and perform the annual cost roll up.
• Review P&L and BS account actuals vs fcst, monitoring performance and accuracy
• Provide Mix Margin analysis by prod line, Customer, part number.
• Responsible for total inventory reconciliation between Mapics & Vista vs Oracle
• Responsible for the Annual physical inventory organization and cycle counts.
• Responsible for review and correction of all manual inventory transaction if applicable.
• Responsible for monthly closing activities.
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Rec for various accounts and support during the annual Divisional BSR reviews.
• Upload data to the Encore Finance system and PLEncore,
• Maintain and monitor standard cost changes in Mapics & Vista.
• Analyze MPV on purchase orders to provide the root cause analysis to find the corrective actions.
• Analyze MUV on manufacturing orders to provide the root cause analysis and the corrective actions
• Prepare and Analyze Nonconformance (CONC) report.
• Prepare and Analyze Excess and obsolete (E&O) report and determine any possible impact on P&L.
• Prepare and Analyze Warranty report and determine any possible impact on P&L.
• Analyze Production hours report to determine labor absorption.
• Prepare an analyze productivity reports to identify actions to accomplish goals.
• Provide guidance and support to all functional areas as needed.
• Review and follow up cycle counting activities with cycle counter staff.
• Review activities with GFSS an NAC teams to assure all accounting activities have been done.
• Detect and prevent potential risks and opportunities in accounting.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial field from accredited institution
• 3-5 years of experience in financial departments
• Working knowledge of accounting and finance
• Proficient in MS Office toolset
• Knowledge of Mapics, Oracle, Khalix - Encore, Oracle, Power BI, ARCS and other programs required
• Bilingual (Spanish / English)
