We are looking for an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to ensure sales and service locations have compliant health and safety business practices, targets, and reporting. This is a stand-alone role which will see the candidate implement regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures, whilst acting as an internal consultant to educate stakeholders and help them fulfil their EHS duties, especially contractor management.

Key Duties:
- Provide legislative and regulatory advice on all issues associated with workplace health and safety and the environment, ensuring Eaton ANZ's policies and procedures comply with regulatory, electrical, and ethical standards across the relevant jurisdictions, internal standards, certifications, and auditing bodies.
- Ensure managers and personnel are appropriately trained and proficient in their health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Advise team of resources responsible for managing contract compliance and customer entrance requirements related to EHS.
- Develop and enhance the value of the EHS function by coaching, mentoring, and embedding a safety culture in the ANZ business.
- Manage and direct contractors in achieving EHS targets & objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and minimise workplace fatality, injury, disease, and ill health.
- Lead site inspections and risk assessments to detect existing or potential risks in health, safety, environmental or quality hazards and initiate appropriate preventative measures and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in EHS management with a focus on contractor management
- Experience in implementing ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Degree/Certificate in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent preferred.
- Deep understanding of EHS legislation, electrical or construction industry, and best-practice standards.
- Experience of leading internal & external auditing and risk assessments.
