What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible to have a thorough knowledge of all standard Panelboard, Control Product and some custom product assemblies and all related materials required to complete the assembly.
This role is located at one of our Eaton Satellite locations (6 in total), which are located across Canada and comprise of smaller assemble-to-order facilities and complement our medium to large manufacturing facilities within Canada.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Work to standard operating procedures, bill of materials, manufacturing information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to established procedures

• Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly by conducting Inspection for conformance to drawings and specifications, functional operation and appearance and making mechanical adjustments as needed
• Perform pack and ship duties
• Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S
• Assist team in achieving plant and department goals
• Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement
• Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Grade 12 diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
• No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 80 kilometers of Calgary, Alberta to be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 months experience working in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions:
• Risk control measures and/or personal protective equipment must be utilized for laceration, pinch point, mechanical and other safety hazards. Please refer to the workstation risk assessment for the applicable control measures that must be utilized.
• Environmental Conditions: Hand powered tools and other machinery may lead to excessive noise; employees must wear appropriate hearing protection as necessary
