Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a EHS Manager.
What you'll do:
The EHS Manager position direct the EHS strategies to achieve objectives and targets. Responsible of the site EHS overall performance, which includes metrics accuracy and reporting, sustainability of regulatory compliance standards (such as: ISO 14001 certifications, plan and implementation of corrective and/or preventive actions require, site security, and crisis management protocols. Develop a culture of engagement with safety and compliance, through a robust communication and training plan.
1. Leads the creation of the site EHS&S targets and objectives (MESH Plan) in support of corporate, regional, and business group EHS&S strategic initiatives designed to drive EHS&S culture, compliance, and results.

2. Drives preventative and proactive action projects to mitigate and eliminate risks through root cause identification and corrective actions for environmental, safety and health activities
3. Ensures that the federal, state, and local EHS regulations are met including air, land, and water to provide a safe working environment for employees, and a clean and healthful environment for the community.
4. Maintains fiscally and socially responsible methods and processes of managing natural resources and waste.
5. Responsible for site certifications on MESH and dimensions included OPA, EBE, MESH+, etc.
6. Interfaces with regulatory agencies and divisional personnel to direct environmental, safety, and health efforts at the facility, in the division, and other groups within the company. Establishes and maintains relationships with governmental authorities on matters of mutual concern including voluntary certification, maintenance of environmental permits, submission of required reports, and maintenance of data.
7. Leads site efforts in the development and deployment of EHS management systems (e.g. ISO 14001, VPP, MESH) to ensure that key EHS operational controls are in place. Ensures all action items identified within all EHS management systems are resolved in a timely manner, and leader's development plans are assessed and implemented.
8. Manages all investigations, measurement, and evaluations of environmental, safety, and health conditions and ensures that relevant research, development, planning, design, and advisory and related activities occur.
9. Maintains positive employee engagement while implementing strategic safety initiatives. Develop and promote Zero Incident Safety Culture (ZISC), throughout site EHS Team and committees needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year including communication programs for EHS such as: meetings, posters, emails, brochures, etc.

Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Natural Sciences from an accredited institution. Preferable: Master's in science and/or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in EHS similar experience in a distribution and /or manufacturing environment.
• Solid experience in Manufacturing Management, OSHA/ PROSHO, MESH/ Benchmark, Environmental Health and Safety knowledge, Tooling Management, Engineering
• Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without a company sponsorship.
• Skilled in PC software: Microsoft Office, Access, Oracle
Preferred:
• Knowledge managing WWTP Operations experience.
• Knowledge: Lead Auditor of ISO14001; Preferable: MESH auditor/assessor, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), EPA Regulations, Certified Industrial Hygienist
