Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Business Operations Manager. This position requires to be ONSITE T at our Houston TX Eaton facility.

The Business Operations Manager will ensure the continued profitable operation of a LV MCC service center facility through the use of effective manufacturing processes, sales/marketing activities in the territory, and development of direct reports.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year.

  • Act as a territory manager and drive the profitable growth of the LV MCC product line through pricing/quoting responsibility, new product launch, marketing communications, and division initiatives.
  • Establish and refine manufacturing processes to accomplish volume, productivity improvements, and profit goals set forth by the product line and division operations.
  • Cultivate a high-performance work culture through facility management activities, communications and positive employee relations.
  • Review and resolve all warranty issues and claims in a manner that is consistent with standard company policies and is in the best interest of ourselves and our customers.
  • Foster a zero-incident safety culture through deployment of environment, health and safety (MESH) initiatives and safety-focused leadership.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of applicable codes, regulations, and standards relating to the application of all plant products (NEMA, NEC, UL, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

REQUIRED Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Must have two (2) years of experience as a manager of people
  • Must have seven (7) years of experience in either sales / marketing, operations, engineering or a combination of each
  • Must be able to relocate to Houston TX. Relocation assistance will be provided for those living in the USA Country, if needed.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution, in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or Manufacturing.
  • 3+ Years of sales / marketing experience
  • 3+ Years of product line management / marketing experience
  • 3+ Years of manufacturing / operations management experience

Skills:

  • Ability to travel via airplane and other methods 10% of your time
  • Extensive product application knowledge for panelboards, switchboards, and circuit breaker components, as well as working knowledge of the panelboard / switchboard industry.
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and business financial management. Understanding of financial impact of manufacturing and business decisions.
  • Working knowledge of quality programs such as Eaton Business Excellence, Lean Performance, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.
  • Solid negotiation skills and market knowledge including competitor products. Sales and marketing experience in PDCA product offering is highly recommended.
  • Strong interpersonal skills used for review, motivation, and development of all employees. Working knowledge of positive employee relations strategies - managerial effectiveness, employee engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
