Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Analyst to join our North American Sales Business Analytics team at Eaton. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of reporting and analytics solutions created in Power BI that serve the North American Sales and Customer Support Organizations. The primary function of this role is to perform thorough testing and validation of data and reports, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify potential quality issues.
- Perform data validation and testing to ensure accuracy and integrity of reports.
- Identify, document, and track data quality issues and discrepancies.
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues and improve data quality.
- Provide training and support to end-users on quality assurance processes.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in quality assurance and data analytics.

Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. (Industrial, Data Science and Analytics, Systems Engineering or related)
Years and area of experience required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, data analysis, or a related field.
Technical knowledge
- Proven ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Deep knowledge and demonstrated practice of Agile principles and methodologies including Scrum
- Demonstrated ability to lead discussions and execute user acceptance tests
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jira experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and data validation techniques.
- Experience with data modeling and ETL processes is a plus.
