The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic intelligence and supporting Crisis Management activities to minimize the impact of disruptions to business operations, ensure the safety of employees, and protect the organization's assets.
Tasked with supporting the growth of the intelligence and crisis management program includes assisting with the development and delivery of routine and ad-hoc intelligence reports, ensuring consistency and adherence with Crisis Management policy, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure a proactive, informed, and coordinated response to potential and ongoing crisis events.

This position will take the lead in ensuring global situational awareness in the form of intelligence outlooks, regional geopolitical snapshots, situation reports, etc. The position also entails ensuring alignment between Intelligence and Crisis Management capabilities, strategies, and initiatives to drive key business decisions, facilitate preemptive risk mitigation strategies, and ensure effective crisis response.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily/weekly "over the horizon" intelligence reports and regional geopolitical snapshots to management/CSO/operations.
- Assess global geopolitical risks with potential impact to life safety or operations.
- Provide situation reports for ongoing or breaking events.
- Executive level "on the radar" and "on the horizon" reporting and briefings.
- Coordinate with Crisis Management Teams and internal partners to ensure appropriate support is provided and available during a crisis event.
- Implement key Intelligence and Crisis Management strategies and initiatives.
- Review Intelligence and Crisis Management reports and KPIs to ensure policy adherence.
- Assist in the maintenance of internal and external facing Corporate Security and Crisis Event pages
- Partner with other business units to assess their intelligence and crisis management needs.
- Work with external partners, such as emergency services, government agencies and insurance providers, to ensure appropriate support is available during a crisis to regional and country Crisis Management Teams (CMT).
- Act as the primary point of contact for multi-disciplinary teams during significant crisis management related issues within the organization.
- Support live event Lesson Learned/Postmortem assessments with front line teams, key partners, and stakeholders to identify gaps and risks, analyze and identity root cause for remediation and improvements to processes, procedures, plans and playbooks.

Required Skills, Experience and Circumstances:
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in corporate intelligence/crisis management
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Intelligence Studies, Emergency/Crisis Management or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of intelligence collection and analysis methodologies and tools.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and verify open-source information and identify business risks
- Ability to apply intelligence insights to guide crisis mitigation and response activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Capable of operating effectively across a global organization and interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to proactively solve problems, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communications & self-driven initiative skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Multilingual preferred
- Relevant professional certifications such as Crisis Management Certified Specialist (CMCS), ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP), or other professional Intelligence and Crisis Management credentials
- Experience with or knowledge of Intelligence and Crisis Management software and tools
Compensation
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $93,360 to $177,360 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $102,720 to $213,000
Colorado: $93,360 to $177,360
New York City: $112,080 to $213,000
Washington: $102,720 to $195,120
Washington DC: $102,720 to $195,120
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
