Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Aftermarket Wiring Lead to join our team at the Wilsonville, OR site!

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.

Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The core hours are 6am - 3pm.

What you'll do:

The team lead provides manufacturing expertise, support, and direction in their assigned area. The Aftermarket team lead takes direction from the Wiring Lead in MCC and assists the VSM in the coordination, facilitation, and motivation of the activities of all assigned employees to meet or exceed established High-5 metrics and goals including safety, quality, delivery, cost, lean and efficiency. Lead by example in areas such as safety, ethical standards, attendance, intensity, sense of urgency, team philosophy, initiative, quality assurance, standard work, 5-S, product knowledge, positive attitude, interpersonal communication skills and professional presence.

In this function you will:
• Schedule the designated area
• Maintain area specific Gantt Charts and other scheduling tools
• Work with other leads on the line to flex labor as needed
• Update Tier boards and conduct area Tier 1 meetings
• Work with engineering, supply chain, and PLC to resolve interrupters
• Work with engineering to resolve drawing issues and discrepancies
• Maintain quality in area and perform required quality checks
• Help assist with any rework and drive team for larger rework projects
• Utilize Leader Standard Work (LSW) for daily activities
• Assist in creating new hire training processes and documentation
• Work on area/line specific projects as assigned and required
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Wilsonville, OR (Active-duty military exempt from the geographical requirement)
• Experience using Microsoft Excel
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience working in a production or manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience leading a team
• 3 or more years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to address and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
• Ability to develop team and positively influence team morale

Position Success Criteria:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel for data and metric reporting
• Must be able to communicate clearly and give direction to team.
• Must understand Gantt Charts and Production Scheduling processes.
• Working knowledge of wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of material, change notices
• Understand KANBAN and inventory allocation systems.
• Familiarity with quality control systems and reports.
