The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Enterprise Scheduling family you will be responsible for the entire Batch Scheduling environment. The primary focus is to provide flexible scheduling capabilities using self-service and automation while enforcing our Best Practices in an effort to reduce risk and the job failure rate. The Associate role is responsible for administering and supporting CA Scheduler on a mainframe platform. This include creating Load Cards, creating reports and forecasting.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Strong REXX programing skills
  • Experienced with building Load Cards and creating Workflows in CA-Scheduler and ESP
  • Use of VRMs, Separator Jobs and Multiple Job Control Language JCL LIBS
  • Strong Job Control Language (JCL) skills
  • Working knowledge of CA11
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
  • Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
  • Create and publish system documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Working knowledge cross platform scheduling with ESP and CA Scheduler on the Mainframe and distributed Autosys.
  • Onboarding new applications to ESP and CA Scheduler.
  • Experience using JIRA for tracking projects.
  • Creating Schedules using Calendars
